CHESTERTOWN, MD – The Bryn Mawr rowing team traveled to Maryland on Saturday to compete in a head on race against conference opponent Washington College in preparation for the MARC Championships. The Owls and Shorewomen each won an event on the day with the Owls taking the win in the 2^nd Varsity 8+ event.

Highlights:

• The Shorewomen managed to finish ahead of the Owls in the Varsity 8+, with Washington College crossing the finish line in 7:53.86 followed by Bryn Mawr in 8:02.44.
• The Owls earned the win in the 2^nd Varsity 8+, as Bryn Mawr crossed the finish line in 8:12.98 and the Shorewomen finished in 8:54.26.
• Due to high wind conditions, the Varsity 4+ race did not take place.
