BRYN MAWR, PA – Bryn Mawr College tennis fell to in a tough match against #16 Swarthmore, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Bryn Mawr Tennis Courts.
Highlights:
- The Garnet claimed the doubles point with victories across all three flights. The Owls saw their closest doubles contest at No. 1, where the pairing of Claire Emanuel and Kelli Eng battled but ultimately dropped a 6-2 decision.
- In singles play, Bryn Mawr continued to compete throughout the lineup, highlighted by a tightly contested match at No. 2 singles. Eng took the opening set 6-2 before her opponent rallied to force a decisive third-set tiebreak, where Eng narrowly fell 13-11.
- At No. 5 singles, Bianca Vesuna also pushed her opponent in a competitive first set to force a tie-break but ultimately came up short in straight sets.
