SWARTHMORE, PA – The Bryn Mawr tennis team hit the road for a Centennial Conference showdown on Tuesday, taking on #27 Swarthmore at Faulkner Courts. Despite determined efforts across the board, the Owls fell 7-0 to the ranked Garnet.
Highlights:
- The Owls put up a strong fight in doubles action, but the Garnet won all three matches to take the first team point of the afternoon.
- No. 1 singles player Sophie Fenster battled it out with her opponent as the last Owl to step off the court. Yet, despite the effort, Swarthmore Erin Li won the match 6-3, 6-4.
- Bryn Mawr Lowrey West also fought in her No. 2 singles match. West won three games against her opponent in the first set, but the Garnet pulled out the win.
- With the loss, Bryn Mawr moves to 6-6 on the season.
