GETTYSBURG, PA — Bryn Mawr volleyball concluded the 2025 season against Gettysburg College at the Bream Gymnasium on Saturday. Despite a strong opening set and five ties and two leads throughout the match, the Owls fell 3-0 with set scores of 25-19, 25-9, 25-16.
Highlights:
- Emma Loller delivered with a kill in the opening points, assisted by Feldman, helping the Owls secure an early 3-1 lead. However, Gettysburg retaliated with a series of points to shift the momentum, building a 7-3 advantage.
- The Owls responded with Adelaide Grace and Julia Zimmerman-Boyer contributing kills and a service ace from Saya Feldman to narrow the gap to 11-9. A service ace by Anna Dravk sparked a surge, with Bryn Mawr leveling the score at 15-15 after a block from Joelle Wise and Elise Perry. Perry's subsequent kill momentarily pushed the Owls ahead, but Gettysburg regained control, closing the set with a 25-19 victory following a decisive run.
- In the second set, Gettysburg gained early momentum through a series of effective plays, including multiple service aces, which extended their lead significantly. Bryn Mawr managed to break Gettysburg's scoring streak with a kill by Lyra Aubry and an attack error forced by Grace and Perry's block. Despite these efforts, Gettysburg maintained control and secured the set with a score of 25-9.
- Gettysburg opened the third set with a series of scoring plays, establishing an early advantage. Despite efforts from the Owls, including kills by Grace and Perry assisted by Dravk, Gettysburg maintained their lead. Wise contributed with key kills, assisted by Dravk, but Gettysburg's Mary Huegel and Erin Gonzalez were instrumental in extending the home team's margin.
- Bryn Mawr attempted to close the gap with a service ace from Feldman and another from Perry and Wise's block, but Gettysburg's consistent attacks kept them ahead. Late in the set, the Owls scored through a service ace by Feldman and capitalized on opponent errors, yet Gettysburg secured the set with a 25-16 finish.
The Bryn Mawr volleyball program finishes their season with a 3-19 overall record, 0-10 in conference. Bryn Mawr will graduate three seniors – Dravk, Perry,
