The Centennial Conference has announced the 2025 All-Centennial Field Hockey Team selections, and Bryn Mawr College is proud to celebrate senior
Maggie Barilla, who has been named to the All-Centennial First Team for the first time in her career.
A standout both on and off the field, Barilla—a senior from Dallas, Pa.—is a Spanish major and two-time member of the NFHCA Watchlist (2024 and 2025). This fall, she served as team captain and led the Owls with 40 shots and 27 shots on goal. Barilla netted five goals, including a team-leading two penalty goals, and tallied a season-best two goals in Bryn Mawr's 2–1 victory over Haverford—one of which came as the game-winning penalty stroke.
Barilla's impact on the Bryn Mawr field hockey program extends beyond this season. She is a member of the first team in program history to earn an NCAA Tournament bid and advance to the Second Round of the national tournament. Following her senior campaign, Barilla is now tied for ninth all-time in career game-winning goals (3). Over her four-year career, she recorded 13 goals, 11 assists, 37 points, 107 shots, 63 shots on goal, and four penalty stroke conversions.
Joining Barilla in earning Centennial honors is fellow senior
Natasha Ring, who was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team. A dedicated student-athlete majoring in Environmental Studies and Education, Ring has been recognized multiple times for her academic excellence. She is a three-time member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad (2022–2024) and a two-time honoree on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll (2023–2024). With the 2025 Fall Academic Honor Roll set to be released later this month, there's little doubt Ring will add another accolade to her resume.
On the field, Ring was a key contributor to the Owls' historic 2024 season, helping Bryn Mawr reach the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament. She also appeared in the team's record-breaking 10–1 win over Immaculata University, the highest-scoring game in program history, and earned her first career start this season against #14 Dickinson.
Congratulations to both Barilla and Ring on their successes this season!
