BRYN MAWR, PA - Bryn Mawr volleyball returned home to the Class of 1958 Gymnasium on Wednesday night for a Centennial Conference matchup against local rival Haverford. Despite strong defensive moments and a balanced team effort, the Owls fell in three sets (25-12, 25-10, 25-11).
Highlights:
- The Fords came out fast, building a 4–0 lead before Bryn Mawr found their rhythm with back-to-back points from Elise Perry and Joelle Wise. Perry sparked the Owls' offense with three kills and a solo block in the frame, while setter Charlotte Mullen added multiple assists to help Bryn Mawr close the gap to 5–5.
- Haverford's aggressive serving, however—six aces in the set—pushed the visitors ahead for a 25–12 win.
- Perry continued to shine in the second set, adding two more kills and a service ace, while Adelaide Grace and Lyra Aubry teamed up for a block on the opening point. Despite solid defensive work from Saya Feldman, Haverford's offense hit .350 in the set to take a 25–10 decision.
- The Owls showed fight in the final frame, totaling four team blocks—two from Perry and one apiece from Grace and Aubry. Perry led the charge offensively with six kills and a .500 hitting percentage, while Anna Dravk dished out five assists and Mullen added another five. Bryn Mawr's effort kept rallies long, but Haverford closed out the match 25–11.
Bryn Mawr will return home on Saturday for a 1:00 PM EST match against Arcadia University. Prior to the match, the Owls will celebrate their seniors Dravk, Perry, and
