WESTMINSTER, MD- The Bryn Mawr volleyball team continued Centennial Conference play on Saturday afternoon, traveling to McDaniel for a hard-fought match at the Gill Center. Despite a strong third-set push, the Owls fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-20) to the Green Terror.
Highlights:
- The Owls came out steady in the opening frame, trading points early before McDaniel used a late run to take the first set. Bryn Mawr found its footing in the third, building momentum behind consistent serves and strong net play to challenge the hosts deep into the frame.
- First-year Amanda Hughes led the Owls offensively with five kills while adding four digs, and junior Emma Loller followed closely with three kills and three digs. Elise Perry contributed on both ends of the court, tallying two kills, a service ace, and a dig.
- Setting duties were split between Charlotte Mullen and Anna Dravk, who combined for nine assists, with Mullen also adding three digs and a kill. Defensively, Saya Feldman anchored the back line with a team-high five digs, while Omi Oliver chipped in with five more in her rotation off the bench.
- As a team, Bryn Mawr finished with 15 kills, 24 digs, and two service aces.
The Owls return to the court Tuesday, October 21
