CHESTERTOWN, MD. – The Bryn Mawr basketball team fought Wednesday night in a tough Centennial Conference road matchup against Washington College. Despite their effort, the Owls fell, 60-41, to the Shorewomen in the Frank C. Russell Gymnasium.

In the second quarter, Sena Kaper-Dale contributed key points to keep the Owls within striking distance. She racked up six points and six rebounds off the bench for Bryn Mawr. At halftime, Bryn Mawr trailed, 36–19.

The Owls outscored the Shorewomen 13-8, in the third quarter, with Mack continuing to shine on offense. Bracker Sturm added a second-chance bucket, and the Bryn Mawr defense tightened, limiting Washington College to eight points in the quarter. Bracker Sturm chipped in six points, nine rebounds and a block for Bryn Mawr.

Despite their third-quarter momentum, the Owls struggled to keep pace. Mack scored five of Bryn Mawr's nine points in the quarter, including a pair of free throws. However, the Shorewomen's depth and second-chance scoring sealed the game.
