Box Score MADISON, N.J. - After their opening home match with a win on Tuesday night, Bryn Mawr volleyball traveled over the bridge to Drew University to face the Rangers on Friday evening. Bryn Mawr struggled to connect during the match and earned 14 kills to Drew's 36. The Owls faced a tough Rangers squad on the court falling 3-0 on the road.

The first set saw an early run from Drew to pull away 14-3 before first-year Lyra Aubry and junior Micah Sheppard earned a block for the Owls. Bryn Mawr's frontline Aubry, Tula Reihman, Elise Perry, and Sheppard contributed eight blocks combined on the match. Perry tallied five blocks and Sheppard earned four blocks against the Rangers. Drew's strong offensive attack put the Owls on their heels as the Rangers came out of set one winning, 25-8.

During set two, the Owls earned point one of the set behind a block from first-year Reihman and junior Perry. Bryn Mawr gained an early advantage after another block from the first-year-junior front and two consecutive kills from Adelaide Grace. The Rangers were relentless and battled back against the Owls to win eight consecutive points. Another block by Sheppard and Aubry gave Bryn Mawr momentum, however, Drew pulled out a set two win 25-19.

After a strong showing in set number two, Drew University started out hot in the third and final set, leading 10-5. A kill from Sheppard put the Owls within three, but Drew's Alyssa Rachwal tallied two service aces in a row to contribute to a Ranger's run of seven consecutive points. Reihman's kill led the Owls to nine points, but Drew's lead was too far out of the visitor's reach. Drew sealed the match with a 25-9 win to sweep the Owls.
