Bryn Mawr, PA- The Owls lost in overtime Sunday afternoon in the inaugural regular season game on Shillingford field against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Owls allowed an MIT goal within the opening 30 seconds of game time and would not allow another until overtime. After a back and forth first half, Bryn Mawr opened the second half with a goal in the first five minutes.

After the Owls did not find the back of the goal in the first half, they opened the second half with six corners earned. Senior captain Novy Goetgeluk attempted a shot on goal during corner number five but did not find the back of the goal. Less than a minute later, Goetgeluk put the Owls on the board assisted by junior Maggie Barilla.
