BRYN MAWR, PA – On Monday, July 15^th, Bryn Mawr Athletics announced the new name for the Owl athletics mascot. With more than 530 individual votes, "Olympia" (aka: "Olly" for short) is the winning name!

Voting on the name occurred during May and June in three rounds: round one included 2023-24 academic year scholar-athletes, round two included the entire 2023-24 academic year undergraduate student body, and the third round consisted of staff and faculty of the Bryn Mawr Athletics Department.

Olympia will be spending the next academic year preparing for their campus debut.
