BRYN MAWR, PA – The Bryn Mawr tennis team welcomed the Mules of Muhlenberg to campus for the final match of the 2024 season. Prior to the match, the Owls celebrated seniors Wynn Bryant and Kelly Cole. For the second match in a row, Bryn Mawr won a 9-0 victory and extended their win streak to seven against the Mules.

Highlights:

• The Owls had a clean sweep at doubles with all matches finishing 8-2 in Bryn Mawr's favor.
• At singles, the top two seeds of Sophie Fenster and Bryant each won their match 6-0, 6-0.
• Next to finish was Gioanna Zhao (No. 5) and Kelli Eng (No. 3) with both Owls winning their match 6-1, 6-3.
• Last on court was Cole at fifth singles and Jill Hohmann at sixth singles. Both players dropped their first set but battled back to bring their Mules opponent into a third set tiebreak. First to finish was senior Cole who won her tiebreak 10-3, followed by Hohmann with a close 10-7 win in the third set tiebreak.
• Despite missing out on a season in their first year due to Covid-19, Bryant and Cole recorded the highest winning percentage of any senior class of those who played more than 20 matches.

The Owls finished the season with an 8-8 overall record and recorded conference wins over Ursinus (5-4) and Muhlenberg (9-0). Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
