BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr lacrosse team played their second home game of the season earlier Wednesday afternoon as they welcomed DeSales to Applebee Field. The Owls had a strong first quarter with two goals by Camille Franklin and one by Margot Becker, but they did not manage to hold their early offensive prowess and the Bulldogs took the win, 17-4.

Highlights:

• DeSales Danielle Sieja scored the first goal of the game at 12:25, but they would only hold the lead for the next minute until the Owls tied the scoreboard.
• At 11:24, Franklin took a free position shot to tally her fourth goal of the season and record Bryn Mawr's first goal of the game. It was not long until Becker, assisted by Haley Halvorson, took the lead for the Owls less than five minutes into the first quarter.
• DeSales scored the next two goals to regain the lead until Franklin raced back for her second goal of the game, assisted by Halvorson, to tie up the scoreboard, 3-3.
• Bryn Mawr's scoreboard remained stunted for the second and third quarters while DeSales extended their lead to 10.
• The Owls saw their last scoreboard change at 6:40 in the fourth quarter after another free position shot taken by Franklin.

Bryn Mawr will play their first away game of the season on Saturday as they head to Arcadia for a 12pm start time.
