BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr tennis program extended their win streak to three in a home match against Neumann University. In their most successful season of the open era, the Owls led the charge going into singles with a 3-0 lead. Only letting up a single set throughout the entire match, Bryn Mawr won 9-0.

  • Second doubles Wynn Bryant '24 and Kelli Eng '26 won 8-1.
  • Gioanna Zhao '26 and Macey Ellis '26 extended the Owls' lead to three with an 8-1 victory. The day's win was Zhao's first collegiate doubles win as an Owl.

  • Eng played her second match this season at fourth singles and won 6-1, 6-0.

  • Leading 8-0, the last match on court was Zhao at fifth singles. The first year dropped the first set 6-4 but returned stronger in the second set to win 6-1. This left the match up to a 10-point tiebreak. Both players traded points back-and-forth until Zhao finally caught a break to go up 8-7 and eventually won the tiebreak 10-7.
Zhao's win gave the Owls a 9-0 victory against Neumann. The Owls now move to a 10-6 record, their most successful in the open era.
