GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Owls' soccer program traveled to Gettysburg for a conference game on Saturday. Owls' goalkeeper Natalia Chorzepa had another great performance, while midfielder Ariel Shultz took a shot on goal.

Chorzepa made her first save of the day less than a minute into the game as the Bullets took possession of the ball to take their first shot. Gettysburg maintained position of the ball for the first six minutes of the game. Just after the seventh minute, Bryn Mawr took possession of the ball and brought it down the length of the field to the home team's net. Senior Paige Mastripolito attempted to make the first goal of the game, but her shot missed just left. The two teams traded possession over the next 15 minutes, Chorzepa saving all three of Gettysburg's shots. Halfway into the first half, Ariel Shultz took a high right shot, but the Bullet's goalkeeper made a great save. Less than two minutes after Shultz's shot, Gettysburg made their own shot and scored the first goal of the game. The Bullets took a few more shots throughout the rest of the half but were unable to score another goal. The first half ended with the Owls down 0-1.

The Owls returned for the second half ready to put on a show, but again the Bullets commanded possession early. The Owls were unable to take any shots throughout the half as Gettysburg's defense proved impenetrable. Chorzepa faced five shots throughout the half and was able to save all but one. The Bullet scored their second and final goal around 74 minutes. The game ended 0-2 with Gettysburg taking the win.

Bryn Mawr will return on Monday for a home game against Immaculata. The two teams will meet for the first time since 2007.
