Box Score WELLESLEY, Mass. – Bryn Mawr gave-up three goals in the second-half as they feel to Babson 4-0 Sunday afternoon.
Babson tallied the first goal of the game when Jenny Moore from 18-yars out that slipped through sophomore goalie Aviva Kosansky hands in the 24th minute. Both teams battled hard the remainder of the first-half but neither team was able to score. The Beavers took a 1-0 lead into the half.
Less than ten minutes into the second-half, Babson tacked-on another goal, this time from Meghan Andrew. Katie MCkenna added another goal for the Beavers five minutes later to push her team ahead 3-0.
The final goal of the game came in the 74th minute as Andrew found the back of the net again.
On the day, Kosansky posted eight saves. Sophomore Marcela Dorfsman-Hopkins and junior Marian Slocum took three shots each while junior Genesis Feliz took one.
Bryn Mawr is back to action when they host Cairn University on Friday, Sept. 13, at 4:00 pm on Applebee Field.
