IMMACULATA, Pa. – Sophomore Rachel Ofili helped the volleyball team stop a three-game skid as the Owls defeated Immaculata 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-18) Thursday evening.

Ofili tallied a game-high 12 kills and added four total blocks as Bryn Mawr was victorious in the non-conference showdown. Sophomore Sarah Gates added seven kills while classmate Noemi Moreno and senior Victoria Peltonen tacked-on four each.

Junior Danielle Preziuso handed out a game-best 29 assists while sophomore Zoe Holman added 14 digs. Holman also served-up a game-high four aces while junior Ellen Chiu tallied a pair of service aces.

As a team, the Owls tallied 33 kills, nine aces and five total blocks.

Bryn Mawr is back on the hardwood this Saturday when they open Centennial Conference action against McDaniel at 12:00 noon followed by Gwynedd-Mercy at 4:00 pm. Both Games will be played inside the Class of 1958 Gymnasium.
