Parmese Powers Owls with 18 Points on the Road

WESMINSTER, Md.  – Senior Nicolette Parmese scored 18 of Bryn Mawr's 25 points Saturday afternoon as the Owls fell to host McDaniel 80-25

Bryn Mawr was held scoreless over the opening five minutes of the game until Parmese put the Yellow and White on the board with a pair of free throws. Over the next minute and a half Parmese added five more points with a pair of baskets and a free-throw.

At the ten minute mark, the Green Terror held a commanding 29-7 lead.  Over the final ten minutes, Parmese, junior Ashton Dwyer and sophomore Veronica Roux combined for seven points as McDaniel took a 43-14 lead into halftime.

In the second, Parmese posted a team-high eight points while freshman Alayna Garner and Tosin Ajiboye added two and one points, respectively.

Parmese picked-up her third double-double of the season by adding 14 rebounds. She also tallied three blocks. Roux and Dwyer added seven and four rebounds, each.

With the win, McDaniel improves to 4-0 on the season while the Owls fall to 1-2.

Bryn Mawr is back to action for the final time in November when they travel to Washington College on Tuesday, Nov. 26, for an 8:00 pm showdown with the Shorewomen.
