ROSEMONT, Pa. – Junior co-captain Aislinn Toohey netted a team-best 17 points Saturday as the Owls fell on the road to Rosemont College, 49-79, in non-league action on the Main Line.

The Ravens opened the game on a seven-point run before sophomore Nicolette Parmese registered the Owls first basket at 16:03. Bryn Mawr battled back and with ten minutes remaining in the half, they pulled within three, 10-13.

Rosemont ended the half on a 25-15 run to take a 13-point lead, 38-25, into the locker room. Toohey scored one of her five three-pointers on the day in the final seconds of the opening half.

Bryn Mawr was held to only one point over the first five minute of the second half as Rosemont pushed their lead to 54-26 at the 15-minute mark. Over the next five minutes, the Owls tallied a layup by freshman Chantille Kennedy and three-ball from Toohey.

The final ten minute of the contest, the Owls outscored Rosemont 18-15 that included three baskets from beyond the arch.

Rosemont was paced by Ashley Montecchio who posted a game-high 28 points. Vanessa Johnson and Elizabeth Coyne added 14 and 12 points, respectively. Johns pulled-down a game-best 15 rebounds.

In addition to Toohey's career-high scoring output, Parmese recorded her 12th double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Kennedy added eight points and junior Soraya Terrab grabbed six rebounds.

Bryn Mawr is back to the hardwood when they renew their rivalry with Haverford on Monday, February 6, for a 7:00 pm showdown with the Fords.
