ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Host Muhlenberg College defeated Bryn Mawr 4-0 Wednesday afternoon in Centennial Conference action.

The Owls held Muhlenberg scoreless over the opening 43 minutes of play as senior goalie Rebecca Joseph posted a pair of saves. As it looked like both teams were heading into the half deadlocked at 0-0, the Mules sneaked a goal at 43:27. As Joseph came out of the net to challenge Taylor Pini, Pini passed the ball to Macayala Baer kicked the ball into the back of the net.

Coming out of the intermission, Pini added a goal at 50:42 on a cross from Alyssa Meola. Following nearly eleven minutes of play, Jacelin Muschlitz made it 3-0 as she took a pass from Pini at 61:59.

Muhlenberg's Krissy Fioretti tallied the Mules' final goal of the game at 79: 45 as she took a shot from the corner of the 18 and beat Joseph.

With the win, Muhlenberg moved to 5-6-1/3-2 CC while the Owls drop to 3-4-3/1-2-2 CC.

Leading the Owls with two shots was freshman Veronica Roux. Freshman classmates Allegra Levy and Helena Van Oudenallen as well as sophomore Marcela Dorfsman-Hopkins all took one shots each.

The Owl are back to action when they travel to Dickinson on Saturday, October 6, for a 12:00 pm showdown with the Red Devils.
