Box Score CARLISLE, Pa. – Sophomore Jackie Handy posted a team-best 10 points as Bryn Mawr fell to host Dickinson College, 25-71, Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference action.
The Owls were held scoreless over the opening 6:18 until sophomore Nicolette Parmese got Bryn Mawr on the board with a layup.
Bryn Mawr scattered nine more points in the final 13 minutes of the half as Dickinson held a commanding 32-11 lead at the half. Handy had a team-best four points after the opening half while junior Taytiana Welch chipped in three.
The Owls pulled with-in 19 points on a Welch layup with 18:07 to play in the game, the closest they got in the second stanza.
Handy ended the night one rebound short of her third double-double of the season. Parmese pulled down a game-best 13 rebounds while Welch ended the night with five points.
The Owls return to the hardwood when they host Gettysburg Tuesday, January 10, inside the Class of 1958 Gymnasium.
