Cavaliers Top Volleyball in Straight Sets

RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini Cavaliers volleyball team topped the Owls 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-14) Wednesday evening in non-conference action.

Sophomore Victoria Peltonen paced the Owls' offensive attack when she slammed home a team-best seven kills. Senior Mikecia Witherspoon added six kills and junior Hannah Rosebrock tallied four.

Senior Emily Takeuchi-Miller handed out a team-high eight assists and freshman Danielle Preziuso dished-out six. Witherspoon recorded 12 digs and sophomore Jackie Handy posed a game-best three blocks.

The loss drops Bryn Mawr to 0-3 on the season. The Owls will look to bounce back this weekend when they travel to the Bryn Athyn quad match this Saturday. The day will get underway starting at 10:00 am.
