WESTMINSTER, Md. – Visiting Bryn Mawr swept host McDaniel College 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-11) Saturday afternoon inside the Gill Center. With the win, the Owls move to 6-7 overall and 2-0 in league play.

Leading the Owls statistically Saturday afternoon was Katie Merrill with 16 kills (.583), 9 digs and two total blocks. Junior Hannah Rosebrock smashed home 11 kills and dug seven shots.

Senior Mikecia Witherspoon tallied nine kills and sophomore Victoria Peltonen added five.

Freshman Danielle Preziuso handed out  26 assists.

As a whole, Bryn Mawr's attack and defensive were equally impressive as the Owls totaled 46 kills, 46 digs, 36 assists, seven aces and four blocks.

The Owls look to make it three conference wins in a row when they travel to Lancaster on Tuesday, Sept. 24, to take on the Diplomats of Franklin & Marshall at 7:00 pm.
