COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The third-ranked team in the nation, Ursinus, defeated visiting Bryn Mawr Wednesday afternoon in both school's conference opener.

It only took 3:57 for Ursinus to get on the board en route to their fourth victory of the season. The Bears tacked on six more goals in the opening frame and seven more in the second to stay unbeaten in 2011.

The goalkeeping trio of freshman Hannah Lee, sophomore Faith Westdorp and senior Elizabeth Toft combined for 17 saves.

The #3 Bears kept the Owls' goalies on their feet as they unloaded 54 shots towards the net.

Bryn Mawr is back to action on Saturday, Sept. 17, when they play host to Sweet Briar at 3:30 pm on Applebee Field.
