GLENSIDE, Pa. – Junior outside hitter Hannah Rosebrock posted a team-best 14 kills as the Owls fell to host Arcadia 3-1 (25-16, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19)Tuesday night in non-conference action.
Sophomore Victoria Peltonen added nine kills and freshman Ellen Chiu added five. The tandem off freshman Danielle Preziuso and senior Emily Takeuchi-Miller combined for 28 assists.
Rosebrock added 14 digs as sophomore Miranda McDevitt and Takeuchi-Miller totaled 12 and 10 digs, respectively.
On the night, the Owls combined for 11 service aces with five coming from Takeuchi-Miller.
The Owls return to action this Friday and Saturday when they participate in the 2nd annual Knights Invitational hosted by Neumann University. The Owls kick-off the weekend when they take on DeSales at 4:30 pm.
