Box Score BRYN MAWR, Pa.– Visiting Dickinson College tallied three goals in each half en route to a 6-0 Centennial Conference win over host Bryn Mawr Saturday afternoon on Applebee Field.
The Owls held Dickinson at bay for the opening 17-minutes until Allie Young netted the game's first goal in the 18th minute. Less than a minute later, Marisa Kunkle headed a pass from Heather Jaran into the back of the net past junior goalie Rebecca Joseph.
In the 32nd minute, Jess Swain took a through ball from Chelsea Johnson to add to the Red Devil's lead. Dickinson held on to their 3-0 lead heading into the half. In the opening frame, The Devil's outshout the Owls 16-0, putting 10 on goal and netting three.
In the second-half, Dickinson added three more goals, two off corner kicks, to move to 7-3-1 overall and 4-2 in conference play. With the loss, Bryn MAwr drops to 5-5-1 on the season and 0-4-1 in league action.
Joseph ended the day with nine saves. Seniors Lizzie Robinson and Miranda Gordon-Zigel, along with freshman Tahlisa Brougham recorded one shot each for the Owls.
The Owls are back to action on when they play to Muhlenberg College on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 4:00 pm.
