Box Score BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Visiting Muhlenberg College tallied two-goals in the first and added another in the second as they cruised to a 3-0 Centennial Conference over host Bryn Mawr.
Muhlenberg's Colleen Touhey registered the game's first goal in the 14th minute when she lofted a shot over senior Rebecca Joseph's head when she came out of the goal to clear the ball. Five minutes later, the Mules added another goal when Meghan O'Grady took an Alyssa Meola pass and found the back of the net. Muhlenberg held on to their 2-0 lead as the first-half came to an end.
Just over one minute into the second-half, Meola took a corner kick cross from Stephanie Tramutola and headed it to the corner of the goal. Both teams battled the remaining 43 minutes of the game with back-and-forth play.
In goal for the Owls, Joseph posted 12 saves as Bryn Mawr drops to 5-6-1 on the season and 0-5-1 in Centennial action. Seniors Katie Link and Kathi Seto took a team-high two shots while classmate Lizzie Robinson and freshman Tahlisa Brougham took one each.
The Owls will travel to Gettysburg on Saturday, Oct. 15, for a 4:00 pm showdown with the Bullets.
