Jack Stalcup joined the Bryn Mawr College Track & Field Program as a part-time assistant coach in November, 2024.
Originally from Cambodia, he was adopted and raised in Hugoton, KS where he developed his love for sports. In his senior year of high school, Stalcup attended the international boarding school, IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL and competed on the track team.
Stalcup attended McPherson College in Kansas and competed on the track team. During his time competing for McPherson, he helped bring in a conference team title in the 2018 outdoor season. Stalcup completed his career with an all-conference title tying for third in pole vault and finishing top 8 in the conference two more times throughout his career.
Prior to joining the Bryn Mawr Owls, Stalcup worked on his family farm (Hugoton,KS) and taught elementary P.E for three years in Salina, KS. During this time, he also coached the Salina Burn Youth Track Club. In the winter, Stalcup privately coached middle school and high school athletes, and in the spring he coached at Lakewood Middle School (KS) as the sprints, jumps, and relays coach on the track team.
He is a USATF Level 1 certified coach and completed his Masters program through Pittsburg State University (KS) in the summer of 2025.
