HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Bryn Mawr cross country team returned to action Friday afternoon at the Main Line Invitational, hosted by Haverford College. The Owls placed 11th overall in a competitive 13-team field, finishing with a total time of 1:47:20 and three new personal records.
Highlights:

First-year Morgan Maske led the Owls for the second consecutive meet, crossing the finish line in 20:23.2 to place 66th overall. Maske improved by more than a minute and 45 seconds from her 22:09.5 performance at the Bryn Mawr Invitational.

Fellow first-year Casey Wiedrick followed as Bryn Mawr's second finisher, recording a time of 21:02.6 to finish 84th overall. Wiedrick also made a significant jump from the season opener, where she clocked 22:47.4.

Junior Rosa Carbon continued her strong start to the season, finishing third for the Owls with a time of 21:17.7 and placing 89th overall.

Senior Cora Rosin crossed the line fourth for Bryn Mawr, finishing in 21:56.3, while first-year Alexis Sorianorounded out the Owls' scoring five with a time of 22:41.2.

First-year Sasikala Drees finished just behind Soriano at 22:41.3, while junior Emma Smirk recorded a time of 23:45.3. First-year Gracie Greska rounded out Bryn Mawr's finishers at 25:42.9.
The Owls finished just four points behind Muhlenberg in the team standings, with Bryn Mawr scoring 345 points compared to the Mules' 349.
