CHESTER, PA — Bryn Mawr turned in a dominant showing Wednesday evening at the quad meet hosted by Widener, earning convincing wins over the Pride (119–83), Immaculata (147–48), and Lebanon Valley (147–40).
Highlights:
- The Owls opened the meet on a high note, taking first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:59.60) behind the group of Maya Madden, Samantha Ings, Jane Farrell, and Dalia Ibrahim. Madden went on to claim another victory for Bryn Mawr in the 100-yard backstroke (1:06.50), followed by strong swims from Kayla Bass (1:11.45) and Mina Doebele (1:21.96).
- Farrell continued the momentum with a win in the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.12) and later added a second-place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:57.52). Ibrahim placed third in the 100 fly (1:08.06), with Adrianna Porter Meachem also competing in the event.
- Shelby Jackson delivered a standout sprint performance, winning the 100-yard freestyle in 57.39. Chloe Amos (1:00.86) and Dugan Dugan (1:01.10) rounded out the top five in the event. Jackson returned to finish second in the 50-yard freestyle (26.96).
- Dugan continued to lead the way in the distance free events, winning both the 200-yard freestyle (2:07.79) and 500-yard freestyle (5:49.09). In the 200 free, Lexi Mireider (2:15.44) and Doebele (2:20.73) added key points with third and fifth place finishes, while Shoshana Peck contributed with a solid swim in the 500 free (6:05.19).
- Bryn Mawr capped the night with a victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:47.22) as Madden, Amos, Ibrahim, and Jackson powered the Owls to first.
