LANCASTER, PA – The Bryn Mawr swim team continued their efforts at the 2025 Centennial Conference Championships on Friday at Franklin & Marshall. Several Owls turned in strong performances, adding to the team's overall standing in the meet.
Highlights:
- The Owls began the day in the 500 yard freestyle preliminaries. Samantha Ings led the charge for the Owls, finishing in 5:26.60 for a college personal record. First-year Ella Cohn was close behind, clocking in at 5:26.83, while senior Felicia Pursner touched the wall at 5:36.42. First-year Shoshana Peck and junior Lexi Mireider also contributed solid swims in the event, finishing in 5:56.22 and 6:00.06, respectively.
- In the 50 yard freestyle, sophomore Dalia Ibrahim represented Bryn Mawr well, finishing in 25.59. Junior Maya Madden clocked a time of 26.27, while senior Anna Roumiantsev finished in 29.18. Camille Heynen added another strong performance, finishing in 27.64.
- Bryn Mawr returned for the afternoon session to compete in the 400 yard medley relay. Bryn Mawr's squad of Shelby Jackson, Ings, Cohn, and Ibrahim finished in 4:18.49,
