GETTYSBURG, PA- Bryn Mawr swimming earned a win at the Centennial Conference Quad Meet hosted by Gettysburg College on Saturday afternoon. The Owls took on Gettysburg, McDaniel, and Swarthmore in the pool. They earned their fourth consecutive win against McDaniel, 203-47.  

Highlights: 

• Five new Owls made their collegiate debuts in the pool Saturday afternoon.  

• First-year Shelby Jackson finished in the top five in 1000-yard freestyle.  

• First-year Ella Cohn walked away with a personal record in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:40.84. 

• First-year Lexi Mireider earned a personal best in both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:23.14) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:08.99). 

• First-year Shoshana Peck earned a personal best in her debut with the Owls in the 200-yard backstroke (2:57.39). 

• First-year Adrianna Porter Meachem competed in four events in her first swim meet for Bryn Mawr. 

• Junior Jane Farrell secured a personal best in the 100-yard backstroke (1:06.37) and the 100-yard freestyle (58.43). 

The Owls set their sights on Saturday, October 26th where they host Cedar Valley College and Lebanon Valley College at 5:00 PM EST in Schwartz pool to round out Bryn Mawr's homecoming weekend.
