MEDIA, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr cross country program finished first place at the Dan Talbot open on Friday afternoon with wins from Goldey-Beacom, Chestnut Hill (DII), Immaculata, Rutgers-Newark, RC - Gloucester, Lancaster Bible, Neumann, Rutgers-Camden, and PSU-Brandywine. The Owls' win put them back on top after their fall to Scranton at the Open in 2022, despite winning the first three iterations of the meet.

Highlights:

• The front pack of four (Evelyn Cheng '26, Sofie Prieto '26, Cora Rosin '27, and Caroline Robertson '24) opened the race in controlled form, positioning all four athletes in the top 10 through the first kilometer.
• KP Pettigrew '26 set a new 6k PR in 28:39 and ran in the number five spot for the first time as an Owl.
• Senior Anna Lowrance also PR'd at 34:16.
• Senior Ellie Schumacher (28:45) and junior Sohini Sarkar (29:03) rounded out the top seven.

The Owls will return on October 7 for the Dickinson Pre-National Meet.
