LANCASTER, Pa. - The Centennial Conference announced their 2018 All-Centennial Conference selections earlier Thursday and Bryn Mawr Soccer's Elizabeth Hummel has earned her way onto the list, being named to the All-Centennial Conference Second Team.

The Owls first-year put on a spectacular performance in 2018, starting all 16 of Bryn Mawr's games. Hummel was the second-leading scorer on the squad, racking up three goals in her debut campaign. She cashed in on Bryn Mawr's lone penalty kick opportunity of the season, and she was a vocal leader on the field and adapted brilliantly to several different positions over the course of the year.

Hummel becomes the first Bryn Mawr soccer player to earn All-Centennial recognition since Karina Siu was named Honorable Mention in 2013. She is the first freshman to make the team since Allegra Levy (Honorable Mention) in 2012, and the first freshman to be named either First- or Second-Team All-Centennial since Sarah Matteson was named Second-Team All-Centennial in 2007. Hummel is one of seven first-year players around the conference to earn All-Centennial recognition.

Hummel and the rest of the Owls will continue to train hard throughout the winter and spring, looking to be back and even better for their 2019 fall campaign.
