Jennica Terry Named Centennial Conference Rookie Of The Year

LANCASTER, Pa. - Jennica Terry of the Bryn Mawr Track and Field team was named Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year for the outdoor season, the league announced today. Terry was the only Owl to earn first team All-Conference recognition. Teammates Rachel Greene and Natalia Phillip received other individual recognition for their outstanding performances. This is the second straight season Terry was recognized as being the top rookie athlete in the Centennial Conference.

Terry earned first team honors for her victory in the 100 meter hurdles at the Centennial Conference Championship, where she won the race in a time of 15.37. The Hebron, Maryaland native also earned an honorable mention from the conference for her third place finish in the 100 meter dash. Over the course of the outdoor season Terry was able to set two school records for the Owls in the 100 meter dash as well as the 100 meter hurdles.

Rachel Greene joined Jennica Terry with conference recognition. Greene earned second team all-conference honors for her second place finish at the Centennial Conference Championships in the triple jump where she claimed a new school record in the event at 11.18 meters. In addition to Greene and Terry, sophomore Natalia Phillip was named to the Centennial Conference 2018-2018 Sportsmanship team for her support and encouragement of other athletes within the conference.
